So long, winter. Spring is back in town.

Milder weather and longer days make spring a perfect time to explore London. Enjoy the numerous outdoor food markets and rooftop bars, enjoy the city's gardens and parks and plan to attend some of these events. April 23 is St. George's Day and Londoners will be celebrating with a feast in Trafalgar Square, a festival in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, and events at Leadenhall Market, among other venues. In May, take time to smell the roses and other prized plants at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show at London Gate. Explore delicious food, drink and entertainment at Regent's Park Taste of London in June, an al fresco festival featuring some of London's top restaurants.
Is there a more beautiful time of year to visit DC? We're hard-pressed to think otherwise. The cherry blossoms are truly a sight to see and DC hosts an annual two-week National Cherry Blossom Festival with cultural performances and over 90 other special events. During Passport DC, Washington DC's embassies open their doors to the public in a celebration of international culture. In June, the DC Jazz Festival features more than 100 jazz performances at concert venues and clubs throughout the capital.
