Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations

St. Patrick’s Day might look a little (OK, a lot) different than what Chicagoans are used to, but that doesn’t stop locals from celebrating. From your prime location at Club Quarters Hotel, Chicago, Wacker at Michigan, see what’s happening on March 17.

It’s now the second year in a row that the city’s most iconic events have been canceled: dying the Chicago River green and the lively South Side Irish Parade. You can still order a pint of Guinness in a local pub, just be aware that the city is implementing strict capacity controls along with mask and social distancing guidelines.

In a show of solidarity and celebration, ShamROCK Chicago will honor the city’s Irish heritage with the annual greening of the skyline. Lighting up the night, iconic structures such as the Wrigley Building and 875 N. Michigan will shine green between March 11 and March 17, 2021.
