Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) serves as a major domestic and international hub for the region, with daily non-stop flights from major US cities and frequent routes from major international carriers. Trains arrive at the William H. Gray III 30th Street Station, and several bus companies service Philly from all parts of the country.
Getting Around
Philadelphia is easily navigated by car. The regional public transit system SEPTA (Southeastern Public Transit Authority) can also get you around the Philadelphia metropolitan area via trolleys, subways, buses, and a suburban train line. The Philly PHLASH downtown loop bus tours a route populated with major attractions. Active travelers can get a day pass from the Indego bike share program which has more than 140 docking stations. Taxis and car ride services are also plentiful.

Jawn: A versatile word that Philadelphians use to refer to a person, place, thing, or event. Wit or Witout: When ordering a cheesesteak, you’ll be asked if you want onions (“wit”) or without onions (“witout”).
