Janet Kay and Carroll Thompson are two of the most celebrated Jamaican reggae singers of the 1980s. They are best known for their duet hit "Silly Games," which topped the British reggae charts in 1979 and became a classic of the lovers rock genre. The duo have continued to release music together over the decades, and their joint albums include the critically acclaimed Lazy Days (1990), Together Again (1994), and I'm Still Waiting (1997). Janet Kay and Carroll Thompson have been credited with helping to popularize the lovers rock sound in Britain, and their music has been sampled and covered by a number of contemporary recording artists.
